Beware!

If your barometer’s set to stormy
And the outlook isn’t fair
Be mindful of the damage that’s
Occurring deep in there
As biochemicals do battle
With your heart and with your head
And take corrective action
Lest at worst you end up dead

For the toxic mix of irritants
Of stress, anxiety
The pressures of our daily lives
The mayhem that we see
Are biological poisons
That attack us on the go
So be mindful of these assassins
And relax and find your flow

The Beat

Hey! Get down to the beat
When walking down the street
The beat that strikes out rhythm blues
As heart beat that hits headline news
With constancy repeat

And rock a rate that’s true
But know right what suits you
The boom boom boom along your way
Through arteries and veins each day
That circulate O2

So know your pulse for sure
The knocking at heart’s door
The dub dub dub that you can hear
Or feel pulsating oh so clear
For heart health and much more

For those who get so ratty might
Risk stroke and heart attack
So breathe in deep, relax, compose
Save moods that are so black
And please stop those angry outbursts

Laughter

Laughter – such an infectious thing
That brings us all to life
Give it a go and see just how
It takes away your strife

Go on now! Raise a little smile
Or let it all just rip
And from titter to full chortle
With joy your heart will skip!

So have a laugh and “lol” a bit
And feel glad tidings fall
For chuckles have been said to be
The best medicine of all

From sedate giggles giggling
To boisterous huge guffaws
I swear you’ll end up feeling great
From laughter than before!
