Let Love Win Over Hate

Let love win over hate
Kindness over harm
Compassion beat cruelty
With ubiquitous charm

Let forgiveness rule supreme
Let malice melt away
And revenge not be the path that’s walked
With bad karma in play

For those who troll on others pain
Must really not be blessed
Falling so short of anything right
And lacking of all goodness

A Final Blessing

Towards the everlasting Spring
Where blossom stays in bloom
And daffodils rise from the ground

Towards the sun that never sets
Where blue dispels the mist
And jubilant trumpets resound

Towards all of eternity
Where endless joy’s fulfilled
And boundless peace is always found

Towards the perfect great beyond
Where radiance shines bright
And glory’s presence all abounds

Be ever in our thoughts and heads
Our minds and memories
With mercy blessed for evermore
With love, you are set free.

Diffuse Arguments (Haiku)

Diffuse arguments
With grace, love and forgiveness
Melting hearts and minds

Fruits of Sanctity

When dark clouds gather, ghouls and ghosts
Liars and haters claw
Remember this, look to the light
To keep each heart so pure

For there let peace reside within
Resting each weary mind
Holding onto kindness and truth
With gratitude unwind

And seek a path of hope forward
Be intent on love’s own way
Forbearing, goodness, patience, faith
And joy day on each day

Then tether to benignity
Where fruits of sanctity
Will liberate from oppression
As grace thus sets each free

Poisoned Dwarf

When you come across a poisoned dwarf
The only thing to do
Is realise that in all truth
They’re evil through and through
Intent on nastiness and spite
Revenge and speaking ill
And sad to say they sour a day
Much like a bitter pill

But try and rise above the grief
And venom that they spread
For through the rolls of bitterness
A lost soul curls up dead
Within each one; a broken heart
A babe who’s known no love
Who fails to reflect kindness, grace
Bring peace on wings of dove

A story of great sadness and
A tale of woes; remorse
Where dwarf has been left wanting in
Time and throughout the course
OF a life that has little to
Rejoice about with glee
Less playing havoc with others
Driven by jealously

And so do not repay with hate
Try to not answer back
But stick to ways that honour truth
With light shining healing their cracks
To blast away the bad and bring
In goodness through and through
Reflecting kindness and hope for
Poisoned dwarf to imbue

Have A Heart This Christmas

Have a heart this Christmas
And share it with the rest
With kindness, empathy and care
Enduring to give your best

And spare a thought, a moment
For others unlike you
Who are struggling with this season and
Who feel a little blue

And in line with festive spirit
Reach out the hand to them
Of love, compassion, hope and grace
The star of Bethlehem

Cordon of Humanity

When all that is left
Are small candles flickering
Holding out against the storm
And battling the tides of destruction
Then let a cordon of humanity
Bound in grief
Conjoined in compassion
United in empathy
Bring hope where there is despair
And love where there is hatred
So that the flames will reignite
Shattering the darkness
With life-giving light

No Heart

He has no heart
No essence or compassion
No soul, no spirit, no charity
No kindness and no passion

He has no love
No cordial tenderness
No zeal or beating drum within
No gentle graciousness

He has no understanding
No desire; no fond rapport
No sympathy or sweet accord
Just gaping open core

And yet inside he bleeds; he cries
He wants; he craves; he yearns
For all he’s lost; his wilderness
Where fire ice blue cold burns

Like pain that sears; frost bites so hard
Bitterness his delight
Alone; abandoned; so forlorn
Deserted in the night

Waiting For Your Love

Hear me, my love
Rustling through the trees
Whispering in the wind
Calling across the ocean
And rolling in the deep
Up hill down dale
As a dove coos and eagle soars
Hailing thee yonder
Yearning to be heard
In this wilderness of a beating heart

For though you may be gone
You are always there
Alive in my mind’s eye
Like an arrow of desire
Piercing my soul; my spirit
For I loved you from the first
And will love you to the end
Sweet rock of passion
Lodged in my heart
Forever and a day

And let us not look back on what has gone
Yet more so to that which will be
Enjoying this moment; this time
Posited here in the now
As the waters lap upon the shore
The tides wash in renewed
And the moon waxes a new morrow
For here I am waiting
Waiting for you
Waiting for your love
