A star shines out above the rest
And twinkles way up high 

A star gives hope

A star that leads to peace
A Star of love.  A Star of joy
To shine and never cease. 

A star to hold
To give to have
To wish upon each day
A star that lights the path ahead
Illuminates the way

A star that is
A leading light
A star that burns so bright
With radiance and faithfulness
Enlightening the night

A star that paves
Celestial ways
With angel choirs today
And with the Christmas anthem sings
